Our tuition-free charter school is currently enrolling K-5 students for the 2024-25 school year. To help you get on your way, we’re sharing the answers to some of our most asked questions about the enrollment process below.
What is the Open Enrollment Period for Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School?
The Open Enrollment Period for the 2024-25 school year is from January 8th to February 29th, 2024. During this time, new families may complete an online Open Enrollment Application. If there are more applications than available spots, we will hold a live lottery via Zoom on March 22nd, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. After the Open Enrollment Period, students will be admitted as space is available or invited to join the waitlist.
How Do I Enroll as a New Student at Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School?
In order to indicate your interest, you must submit the Open Enrollment Application form during open enrollment time. You will receive an email confirmation of our receipt of your application upon submission.
After Open Enrollment closes, Arco Iris will complete student placements. If a lottery is required due to high interest, it will be conducted live, via Zoom on March 22nd. You will be notified about the outcome of the lottery.
Families admitted into the school at or before any lottery will need to come into Arco Iris to pick up a welcome packet. Please review and sign the forms and return them to Arco Iris within 5 calendar days, unless otherwise noted. If we do not receive your forms in completion, your child’s space will be vacated and offered to the next student on the waitlist.
What If I Missed the Open Enrollment Period?
You may still apply after the open enrollment period. Space is filled on a first come, first served basis. If there is no space available, you may join the waitlist.
How Do I Join the 2024-25 Waitlist for Arco Iris Spanish Immersion School?
After the March 22nd lottery date, the waitlist for the 2024-25 school year will open. You can visit our website and complete the 2024-2025 waitlist application to be added to the waitlist. You must complete this form and click "SUBMIT" at the bottom of the third page to be considered for enrollment. If you have more than one child enrolling, please complete this form for each child.
